Learn How Calumite Slag
Helps Your Business
Melite-40
Melite-40 is an iron aluminum
silicate with traces of calcium, magnesium, carbon, and sulfur. Adding the iron to
the glass in a dilute form provides for better mixing of the raw materials resulting in better amber color control.
Melite-40 can be used in bulk and weighed
directly from a bin, thereby resulting in less manual labor than that required with
concentrated iron sources.
